A quick guide to all the (hectic) activity going on here at DailyJ
On January 12, 2008 in Announcements
Hi all,
#1 For the discussion about the Japan-related web…
There is a way now to subscribe to comments, so you don’t miss the action! But it is a work around. You can use http://co.mments.com, they have a tutorial.
But let me summarise it: sign up –> drag and drop the “bookmarklet” onto your broswer –> go to the post where you want to track comments –> click on the “Track co.mments” –> then go to http://co.mments.com/track to keep track of all your comments.
#2 Our interview with Gaba Teachers Association. It’s finally here!
#3 I just want to say that DailyJ will be supporting the JapanSoc (Digg.com for Japan-related news) project however it can. Please be sure to check out JapanSoc. I have no doubt that it will help build a better Japan-blogger community.
I am planning to interview Nick from JapanSoc soon. Also (hopefully) I will be doing a post explaining how to set up the “JapanSoc It” gadget that KenYN from WhatJapanThinks generously made for the project.

Okay, I’ve signed up at CoComments, started tracking all the “Japan Related Web” posts, and subscribed to the comments feed. Very handy. Now I just need some time to go through all those comments! You guys are moving too fast for me
It’s great to have you on board with regards to JapanSoc. Watch out for another great promotional gadget coming soon!
It’s moving a little fast for me too, but I am glad that it is active and that people are commenting and participating.
No problem. JapanSoc deserves to be supported. I hope everyone will do the same.
