Radar

…I’m back. But no promises. And no grandiose speech about the future. Just quiet determination.

I want to make Nipponster and DailyJ into great websites. I want to improve Japan-related web resources and help build up the community.

But this time I have to pace myself and not burn out. And most importantly, I need to focus.

I have been thinking a lot about DailyJ, Nipponster, and the bloggers/webmasters who I’ve had contact with through this blog.

I want to thank all of you again for your support in the past (and especially all those who have kept nudging me to continue).

I hope that I will still have your support in the future.

Have a great day! :)

  1. Nick Ramsay Said,

Great to hear from you! I found your passion for community building quite inspiring, and am glad you’ve still got an eye on the Japan-related web. You have a good day, too! :)

  2. The Chemist Said,

Thanks Nick. I wanted to start back again so many times before, but I knew that I didn’t have the time and plan together to do it right. Hopefully I do now.

    btw,
Japansoc is looking really good! I love the ThinkTank and community blog.

  3. Nick Ramsay Said,

Thanks Chem, I added another twist today with the Japan Blog Big RSS Feed., and I have other plans, too! I’ll let you in on the secret soon. ;)

  4. The Chemist Said,

I like the Japan blog big rss feed! It is like having your thumb on the pulse of the J-blogosphere.
Is there any limit to the number of blogs it can contain?

I’ll see what I can do as far as getting RSS feeds for you from the blogs on the JapanBlogList

  5. Nick Ramsay Said,

I found an interview with a guy who has 622 feeds in Google Reader and he used to have over 1,400. I imagine the limit is far beyond that, so I think it’s fair to say we’re safe ;) .

  6. The Chemist Said,

    Hehehe. I guess we are.
Safe for now anyway. There is a lot of interest in Japan though, so who knows. :)

A fellow 4 hour work week fan I see. Nice.
I actually only skimmed through the book (planning on reading it through soon), but I keep up with the blog some.

    Scroble is amazing.

  7. Chris B Said,

    It’s alive!!!!

  8. The Chemist Said,

    Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s good to have you back too!
